Mason's Tulips

My friend Megan Simmons has inspired to me, through her own efforts at starting a blog, to refocus on "My Many Colored Days" again. I mean really, how the heck have 3 months gone by since I last posted??? I'm so ashamed. And it's not like we haven't been doing anything. T-ball, my mom's 75th b-day in NYC, spring break in Sun River, a visit from Grandma and Grandpa Kola, Run For the Arts, ballet class, the tulip festival...need I say more?

Speaking of tulips, Mason is obsessed with tulips. Ever since enjoying a fun-filled day at the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival in Woodburn, OR, she has been drawing them over and over and over. My house is inundated by drawings of big tulips, small tulips, pink tulips, black tulips, green tulips, yellow tulips, and lately, rainbow tulips. Behold and enjoy:
